Background

Kara Amelia Colt was born in the USA. It is unknown where abouts, as her Mother was forced to move around a lot to keep Kara and her older Sister Melissa safe. Kara was given up by her parents at a young age, or so that's what she was told. Infact it was much bigger than she could ever have imagined, you see, her parents hadn’t given her up at all. She was taken, when they were all killed. Her Mother Amelia was a witch from a powerful family line, her Father was just a normal guy her Mother had met in High School. They lived a happy quiet life, with Amelia deciding to stop magic and bring up her children within a normal life. That was up until one day when a 'guy' named Niklaus visited them. You see, he wasn't what you call human, infact a vampire. He all of a sudden, killed Kara's family and took her as his own. That was until the day she was old enough, for him to turn her. At the age of just eighteen, Niklaus bit into Kara’s neck and done what he had to do. Turning her into one of his own. Little did he know, or even Kara that she was also a Witch. Things didn’t go to plan and Kara became a Witch-Vampire hybrid. Being more powerful than Niklaus, she managed to escape him, not knowing why he killed her family. Her life now a journey of finding out why her parents had to die and what it means to be who she is today.
